Responding to Comments 10-12-10 (AKA: How come Blogger doesn't have an easy way of responding to awesome comments?)

Yeah, when I think about yuri and naked women everywhere, my face remains utterly stoic. That's how awesome I am. Maybe I allow myself one or two secretive enjoyments for a brief moment, but then my expression quickly returns to a stony-faced, harsh and weathered thousand-yard stare.

Anyhow, I saw some awesome comments on my Strawberry Shake Sweet honorable mention post, and some older ones, so I'm just going to reply to them in whatever order I like because I'm unable to do it any other way. :(

Bryan Meritt told me that I was an everyday read of his. I think he is lying, but I appreciate the compliment anyhow. :D Darkmanx is being all supportive and shit, by telling me about how my followers shall all be YURI. That sounds fun. ModerneFusion was being all cool about cultural fads, and I respect that. Everyone's got something to say, and each person brings a bit of their culture/hobbies/interests onto the table.

Seion asked if drawing swords makes a person more masculine. You know what? I bet it doesn't, but I'm gladly going to be the test subject here.

Have I become manlier? Do I have chest hair now? HiveNode, check for me.

Ah, look at that. That worked. I have tufts of chest hair on my chest. In fact, I even have other types of hair on my chest now. Head hair, underarm hair, pubic hair, thigh hair, back hair, and hairy hair are all growing copiously and unabashedly on my previously baby-smooth pectorals. They curl and they spike in all directions, gladly displaying themselves gloriously like a cornucopia of unadulterated, rough, rakish, and dangerously masculine delight. In fact, I'm now such a man that each of my chest hairs is now sprouting its own fuzzy stubble of chest hair, and were I to gain possession of an electron microscope, I suspect that each chest hair's chest hair contains the element Manlinium, an element recently discovered by one of my manliest chest hairs, who has just won the Nobel prize while benchpressing Jupiter and making a basketball shot from half a light year away and giving a girl cunnilingus all at the same time.

Sorry, uh, where was I? Oh yeah. K19, thanks for the remark. I do search for new manga myself sometimes, though I try to curb the obsession. >.> Not sure if it's working. Ilikeicecream is utterly correct: Yuri is girl-on-girl. Everyone loves that, right? Guys can enjoy the girls. Girls can enjoy the girls. Transsexuals/genderqueer/whatever is the currently politically correct term can also enjoy the girls three-fourths of the time.

Informative Gamer, no, this series doesn't have an anime. It's probably too short for one, though--perhaps an OVA at the most. Kind of like how Hayate X Blade doesn't have an anime, even though it's made up of hilariousness that would go really, really well in an anime, and make a lot of money, and they've pretty much already picked seiyuus because of the drama CDs.... I would have embedded it, but I think since it's audio and subbing, I will leave it as is. The subbing's done in green over orange, so it's a bit clashing, but it works if you're interested in hearing the seiyuus.

Erie Enthusiast, if I were more awesome I would have read Maria-sama ga Miteru...but I'm not. :( I never got into it, despite several attempts to start. Nor have I read Strawberry Panic. I know, those are the two seriously well-known ones, but I guess there's a part of me that can't quite take the rich-girl-academy and gokigenyou-however-spelled stuff. Need a bit of normalcy in my yuri manga, and if yuri manga can have martial arts and dramatic scenes and lots of comedy, all the more power. :3

Muhunty...what do you not agree with? The YURI? I apologize. I know my tastes aren't going to be for everyone (half the things I like immensely would probably cause others to move into a stunned state of permanent, comatose wtf), so hopefully the content on this blog isn't offensive to anyone. Tryin' not to offend any major groups (chinks! japs! injuns! nazis!), so bear with me here.

And lastly, but not least-ly by far, Dynomar remarks on guns. Hmm. He has a point. Maybe guns will make me even manlier, even though I don't really need the manlyboost after the swords.

RAAAHHHH. Probably should have drawn the BFG from Doom, but eh, so be it. Also, I need to learn how to color. Now, back to work. What is number three on the list? Wonder, wonder, wonder.
